8yr old guest Johnny and his father Raj came out for some pike and walleye fishing. Johnny had never fished with artificial baits before. We started the day with a casting lesson. After a short practice session it wasn’t long before Johnny and his dad were catching fish. They both caught several pike on spinnerbaits the largest being a 36 incher Johnny got at the end of the day on a swimbait, they also caught a few nice sized walleyes which was a first for them as well.
