Spent the day on the water with my guests Kieran and Cathleen. We lost track of how many walleyes made it to the boat along with a handful of nice sized Northern Pike! We used small 3 inch swimbaits rigged on Great Lakes Finesse Stealth Ball heads as well as a Great Lakes Finesse Sneaky underspin / Drop Minnow combo. Slow retrieves were key to allow following fish to strike. We caught all our fish around healthy rock/weed clumps in anywhere from 5-15 feet of water. Walleye season is here in the Kawartha Lakes and the fish are chewing!!!
